The Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce works to promote a successful business climate in south Alexandria and Fairfax County, provide public policy representation for our members, and support economic revitalization.
The Chamber sponsors a full program of activities for our members, from business lunches and after-hours mixers to breakfast seminars. Business awards, the Potomac Classic Golf Tournament, scholarships for local high school students, and recognition for public safety officers are all part of the Chamber’s annual program. The Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce is a successful organization dedicated to the advancement of business and community interests. The Chamber works with elected officials on all levels to make sure the business perspective is known on important issues. We are also the proud home of growing Fort Belvoir.

MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce is to advance the business and community interests within the trade area of the Mount Vernon and Lee Districts in Fairfax County, Virginia.
The objectives of the Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce are to:
o Formulate and advocate business positions on critical issues;
o Represent the Chamber before elected and appointed governmental bodies and officials;
o Assist in the development of the competitive position of its members through educational, networking and marketing programs;
o Involve business in the wider Mount Vernon-Lee community by stimulating a general awareness of public affairs between its members and promoting a good quality of life.
